We need to get the word out now about a dangerous scam going around. Scammers are calling local residents, pretending to be from Medicare/Medicaid. They’re telling people that their new Medicare/Medicaid card is wrong and asking for personal card info to “fix” it.
‼️ Please, don’t fall for this! Medicare/Medicaid will never call you out of the blue asking for your card information. If you get one of these calls, hang up immediately!
If you’re concerned about your Medicare/Medicaid, always call the number on the back of your card to speak directly with them.
Remember: You should never have to give out your personal info over the phone unless YOU make the call first. Stay alert and share this with your friends and family to keep them safe!
